We got this bat for my son who plays 12U. Awesome and beautiful bat! It has a ton of pop!! He likes it so much we’re going to get him another one!! The barrel is smaller so it’s a little harder to get that “perfect” hit. If you’re new to wood or still getting use to wood, get the youth model with the larger barrel. He loves it
